Here, engulfed by velvet blackness below and above, I am aware.  I am aware of the breath of nature.  Each infinitesimal being contributes to the inhalation, and grasses and trees shudder the exhalation.  Damp hands of the soil reach up and saturate my clothing, grabbing and anchoring the back of my limp body.
